Full Time Faculty

Christine Winchell attended First Baptist Christian School and decided to go to Bridgewater State University for her college education. She homeschooled all of her children for 9 years before she decided to enroll and teach at GBCA. She is the mother of three of her own children and also is the mother of two foster children. While homeschooling, she helped other homeschool groups teach science, technology, and math. She has been teaching at Grace since 2014. She now teaches the 3rd and 4th grades.

Lorraine Bailey has been teaching at Christian and public schools since 1984. She graduated from Cedarvill University with a Bachelors in Secondary Education with an emphasis in History. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Elementary education. She is part of the original staff of GBCA, beginning in 2001. She has been teaching History and Literature to the high school since its inception, but has experience in teaching speech and drama. She currently is principal for the preschool through the 6th grade. In addition to History and Literature she currently teaches A.P. European History. Lorraine's role in the school is much more than a description. She fills holes wherever needed.

Adam Bailey is one of the original 11 students of Grace and graduated from GBCA in 2010. He met his wife here and attributes much of his life to things he learned at GBCA. Adam graduated from Bob Jones University in 2014 with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration, a minor in Political Science, and a minor in Bible. He took over the position of Commissioner of the New England Association of Christian Schools Athletics in 2017 representing 36 schools in New England. He has been teaching at Grace since 2014 and took over as principal in 2015. Adam currently teaches Bible, A.P. Microeconomics, and Biology. He also serves as the Athletic Director and basketball coach.

Anna Karnaukh graduated from a University in Russia with a degree in Music Education. She currently teaches our First through Fourth grade and has over 10 years of Christian school and Public school teaching experience. She goes wherever necessary to provide the most excellent education to the students. Before she began at Grace Baptist she homeschooled her two of her own kids from Kindergarten all the way through graduation.

Sarah Cooper is currently teaching our First and Second grade. She has a degree in Vocal Performance and Church Music from Pensacola Christian College. She has over 4 years of school teaching experience and has homeschooled her own children for four years before taking a job with Grace Baptist. She has been to Christian schools her whole life and has provided GBCA with valuable insight.

Cheryl Bailey attended Blackstone Valley Christian School and was homeschooled before attending and graduating from Grace Baptist Christian Academy in 2010. She decided to attend Bob Jones University and graduated from there in 2015 with a Bachelors degree in Music Education, a proficiency in Voice, and a minor in Bible. She has taught Music to grades K-12th and Chimes to the middle school and high school at GBCA since 2015.

Pastor Jeffrey Bailey currently serves as a political lobbyist for homeschooling families and Christian schools. He attends various community meetings regularly. He has also devoted many hours to youth sports over the years serving as both the Vice-President of the Attleboro Pop Warner football program and a coach. He has also coached teams in the Attleboro Little League. Jeff Bailey has been serving at Grace Baptist Church for the past 25 years. He has overseen the Church’s relocation to a larger facility as well as superintending the $2.5 million purchase and renovation of the current 60,000 sq. ft. facility. In 2001 he established the Grace Baptist Christian Academy. Today, the Academy, which began with 11 students and 6 volunteer faculty and staff, serves more than 100 students with over 100 alumni working and serving around the world. Jeff was the school’s first principal until being appointed superintendent in 2009. Jeff is a graduate of Corban University earning his Master's Degree in 1988 and Cedarville University, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984. He currently teaches Chemistry and all the upper level Math's for the high school.
